IMS INTRO Quick Tour
The first window of IMS INTRO is the ITEM SUMMARY SHEET.
This is your main window, providing an overview of your stock:
The ITEM ID in column A can contain any unique combination of numbers and letters.
A barcode can even be used as the ITEM ID.
The ITEM DESCRIPTION in column B can be as long or short as you wish.
The COST EACH in column C is what you paid for the item(s).
The REORDER POINT and MAX STOCK columns calculate when to reorder and how much you need.
The VENDOR NAME and CATEGORY columns provide additional information about your inventory.
An example is shown in the INVENTORY REPORT (later in this quick tour).
The ON HAND QUANTITY in column D shows the total number of items in your inventory, along with individual quantities.
The QUANTITY TO ORDER column is the number of each item that you need to replenish your inventory.
The ON HAND VALUE in column I provides the dollar value of each item in your inventory, along with the total value of your inventory.
The INVENTORY REPORT lists the details of your items - Subtotal by VENDOR.

A second option is to subtotal by CATEGORY.

Inventory Magic Spreadsheet has 2 windows for adding inventory and removing inventory.
These 2 windows also provide an audit trail for inventory moving in or out.
The INVENTORY IN sheet ADDS TO your inventory.
The INVENTORY OUT sheet SUBTRACTS FROM your inventory.
After using INVENTORY IN and INVENTORY OUT, real-time quantities can be seen in On Hand Quantity, shown on the ITEM SUMMARY SHEET.
